Dear Morning After Team, (Jax, Mark n Phil)
I have a dilemma I am hoping you can assist me with. I live on a street that is the only access road to other streets in my development. There are stop signs at each corner yet most people pay no attention to them. We have had many close calls at these corners and when school is in session with bus stops at some of these the possibility for tragedy elevates. The local police department has posted officers in the past to deter this from happening but as soon as they are no longer visible it begins again.
I have been known to yell at cars who blow the stop sign when I am having coffee on my front porch which is not a productive solution and the hand gestured responses and hollers back do not make for kind neighborly relations.
Do you have any ideas on how to make people understand that STOP means STOP and that road signs are there for a purpose? I want to prevent a monumental tragedy by promoting common sense and driving 101.
