Jail Sergeant Indicted For Lying About Drugs Confiscated From Inmate
38 year old Fred Gilbert, an Atlantic County jail sergeant, has been indicted on charged for lying about drugs confiscated from an inmate. Gilbert directed his subordinates to falsify a report about contraband being found in the inmates possession. Gilbert was indicted Thursday on charges of official misconduct according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
