A couple of local football teams suffered losses on Friday night. Millville held on to defeat Ocean City, 20-13. Millville got a late touchdown pass from quarterback Will Polhamus in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Bridgeton visited Lower Cape May and thumped the Caper Tigers, 42-7. Three players for Bridgeton each gained 100 yards in the lopsided win; Bridgeton improved to 3-3 on the season. Wildwood was tripped up by Palmyra, 53-19. Wildwood scored in the second, third, and fourth quarters.
