CAPE MAY TECH BUMPS UP TO GROUP 2 FOR SPORTS

The new 2016 -17 groupings were announced by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, based on enrollment figures. Cape May Tech moved back up to Group 2, while Cape-Atlantic rival Buena dropped to Group 1. Vineland was listed as the largest school in South Jersey with its biggest enrollment in nine years. Among CAL non-public high schools, Wildwood Catholic gained nine students from the previous year and has added 13 percent over five years.
