Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine will hold a Public Hearing on August 19, at 3:30 p.m., at the Borough Hall, 501 Washington Avenue, concerning the submission of an application for grant funding to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Small Cities Public Facilities in the amount of $500,000 for two of three possible public improvement projects: a Senior Center addition/improvements to the Community Center, reconditioning of the Woodbine Municipal Utilities Authority water-storage tower, and storm drainage improvements.
All citizens are encouraged to attend and offer comments at the Public Hearing or by writing to the Borough, attention Mayor William Pikolycky.
“I encourage all residents to come and voice their support for continuing with our goals of improving and expanding our municipal services programs,” noted Mayor Pikolycky. “Your presence is important as funding becomes more challenging in these economically difficult times with funding aid from State and Federal sources being reduced or eliminated.”
