The Borough of Woodbine will be celebrating the 113th anniversary of its incorporation at their March 3rd borough council meeting. Woodbine will also be celebrating the Quasquicentennial of its Founding, which occurred with the purchase of 5,300 acres of land from Dennis Township on July 19, 1891, with the first settlers arriving on August 11th of that year. Mayor William Pikolycky has been in office for the past 25 years. He stated that during that time, “Woodbine has seen an economic and social come-back that we are proud to commemorate as we reach this milestone year.”
