Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine will hold its 2011 reorganization meeting and swearing-in of Mayors and Council members on Sunday, January 2, at 2:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Councilwoman-elect Mary Helen Perez will be sworn in for her first term, by Councilman Michael Benson. She is the second woman to be elected to Council in the Borough’s 109 year history. Councilman Eduardo Ortiz will be sworn in for his sixth term, by Cape May County Freeholder Gerald Thornton. Mayor William Pikolycky will be sworn in for his sixth term by State Senator Jeff Van Drew. The Mayor will give his annual State of the Borough address following a brief reorganization meeting.
