Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky recently presented his budget message. The borough will be maintaining the same tax rate for another year in a row. The Local Purpose tax continues to be stable for the 25th consecutive year. The rate is at 0.235 cents per $100 assessed value, the same as last year. This means that a property assessed at $100,000 would pay $235.00 in Local Purpose tax. “I am pleased to see that once again our local tax rate has remained stable, while municipal services have continued to improve,” noted Mayor Pikolycky. A public hearing on the budget will be held on April 2 at 8 p.m.
