Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) presented the Borough of Woodbine and its staff with certificates of achievement in three areas, as well as awarding the Borough $1600 as a “Gold Qualifier”.
The first certificate was in recognition of outstanding performance by employees and volunteers of the Borough whose safety efforts resulted in zero “lost time” accidents in 2010.
The second was in recognition of outstanding performance by employees and volunteers of the Borough whose loss ratio average from 2004-2009 beat the JIF’s six-year loss ratio average.
The third was in recognition of Outstanding Performance by the employees of the Borough for using 100% of the available transitional duty days in 2010.
The $1600 awarded to the Borough as a Gold Qualifier will be used for purchase to further enhance the safety program.
