Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine has submitted applications to the New Jersey Department of Transportation Local Municipal Aid Program for four projects, totaling $2,445,425.
Two will be for road reconstruction, the third is bikeway upgrades (widening and resurfacing), and the fourth as an additional phase embellishing on the streetscape.
The applications for roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements are will be for Sumner Avenue and Heilprin ($721,844) and for Fremont Avenue ($526,815).
Requested for the bikeways improvement was $777,803, which would be for renovation and upgrading of the Woodbine bikeway from Grant Avenue to the south end (the Borough Boundary with Dennis Township).
