WOMAN WON’T HAVE TO GET RID OF HER PIG

A new report says a Somers Point woman will be able to keep the pig she purchased and was raising. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Morgan Slaughter was initially told she was breaking local ordinance by raising the pig, but was able to win in court. The ordinance had read she could have faced 30 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.
