WOMAN STRUCK AND KILLED BY HER OWN VEHICLE

A New Jersey woman was killed by her own vehicle. Police say the 79-year-old woman did not put the vehicle completely in park when she arrived at a restaurant in Livingston. According to police, Sally Simmons was walking behind the automobile when it came backwards and ran over her. The elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday, just after 6:15 p.m.
