Some good samaritans saved the life of a Mays Landing woman who was pulled from a car fire. It happened in Hamilton Township on Route 522 Thursday afternoon when Maria Spear fell asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle before it veered off the road and struck several trees. Passeerbys saw the accident and pulled Spear from the vehicle. She was taken to a local hospital with multiple injuries.
