WOMAN ON PROJECT LIFESAVER LOCATED AFTER GOING MISSING

The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department helped locate a woman this week that had gone missing. The woman, a Project Lifesaver client, had wandered off while her husband was still sleeping. The early notification and the Project Lifesaver technology resulted in the officers locating the woman quickly and safely. She was reunited with her spouse without incident. The Project Lifesaver Program is a rapid response system that helps the officers track adults and children who tend to stray due to Alzheimer’s disease, autism, Down syndrome, and other conditions.
