WOMAN JUMPS IN FRONT OF TRAIN, WILL SURVIVE

A 52 year old woman jumped in front of a New Jersey Transit train in Absecon over the weekend.  Authorities say Maria Goldfarb of Galloway is expected to survive the incident.  Police say Goldfarb jumped in front of the train shortly before 1pm on Sunday.  The engineer tried to stop, but still wound up hitting Goldfarb.  She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
