A woman from South Carolina was struck by a car trying to cross Route 30 in Galloway Township Sunday night. Police report that 62 year-old Jacqueline Graham, was attempting to cross between two vehicles at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Route 30 at around 10:15 p.m. Sunday. Graham was hit by a vehicle driven by Timothy Hesse, 48, of Egg Harbor City, who was making a left-hand turn onto westbound Route 30. The victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus with an injury to her right leg. Graham was issued a summons for failure to use a crosswalk.
