WOMAN FOUND DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE AND WITH DRUGS IN CAR WITH CHILD

A woman was arrested for driving erratically in a vehicle with a child inside. Galloway Township Police say they arrested Verna Watkins, of Galloway on Monday and found drugs inside of the vehicle. Watkins was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, child endangerment, driving while intoxicated, and other related offense. Watkins was placed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $100,000 bail.
