WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT ON POLICE

A woman showed police two different ids in Hamilton Township. A woman later identified as Lynae London of Mays Landing, was found to be wanted no bail warrant for possession rock cocaine. Police went to arrest London who wouldn’t get out of the vehicle and revved her vehicle. She then put the vehicle in drive and fled the scene, initiating a motor vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended in Merion Court where she abandoned her car in the middle of the court and fled into her mother’s house. The officers made entry and placed her under arrest on the stairs leading to the second floor. London has been charged with Aggravated Assault (2nd degree); Resisting Arrest (3rd degree) and Eluding (2nd degree). Bail was set at $50,000.
