An arrest was made after the report of a possible drug transaction came into police in Lower Township. Police were told that a possible transaction was taking place in North Cape May Wawa. Dana Cashmore, was found to be in possession of Suboxone tablets, a Schedule 3 narcotic as well as a Clonazepam tablet, a Schedule 4 narcotic, neither of which Cashmore had valid prescription. Cashmore also found to be in possession a blue wax paper packet, containing suspected Heroin, a Schedule 3 narcotic along with drug paraphernalia. Cashmore was taken into police custody and transported to the Lower Township Police Department, where she was processed and placed on two Summonses, for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a Crime of the 3rd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Persons Offense Cashmore was released on her own recognizance and the matter is now pending Court.
