WINDFARM OFF ATLANTIC CITY TAKES STEP FORWARD

A local company has gotten approved from the state’s Department of Environmental Protection to building a six turbine windfarm off the coast of Atlantic City. The CAFRA permitting was issued for this project. According to a press release, the work will bring more than 200 construction jobs. The Fishermen’s Energy of Cape May still has a couple of more steps before work can begin, including getting approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
