WILL TOWNSEND INLET BRIDGE OPEN ON TIME?

Will the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge really open to vehicular traffic on Friday? That’s what travelers who frequent Sea Isle City and Avalon want to know.  County Engineer Dale Foster announced earlier that the bridge would not open for Memorial Day weekend and the new date is this Friday.  The county hired a contractor to make major repairs on the bridge and the contractor has failed to meet various deadlines.
