U.S. Congressman Frank LoBiondo will join the mayors of Wildwood and North Wildwood Thursday at noon for a press conference to announce what may be a $21 million grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commission for flood-prevention projects. DEP Commissioner Bob Martin will also be in attendance for the announcement. Wildwood Mayor Ernie Trioano told Coastal Broadcasting that this is something he’s been fighting for for 17 years, but would not give any details until today’s press conference, to be held at the Wildwoods sign near the boardwalk at Rio Grande Avenue.
