Wildwood residents had a chance to raise their concerns over a proposed skate rink. Wildwood Commissioner Pete Byron held the meeting at the Byrne Community Center on Monday night. Byron also addressed the zero-increase budget. Byron showed off renderings for the skating rink and stated that the money that had to be bonded for the project would be gotten back from the county in open space funding. The city hasn’t purchased the land yet, but is in the process. The rink would go into a vacant piece of land on Paciifc Ave. The Some residents supported the project, but some did not feel it would help the city. About 100 people were in attendance.
