WILDWOOD TO THROW ITSELF A 100TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

The 100th birthday of the city of Wildwood will be held in three weeks.  Wildwood city officials announced that the city will commemorate its 100th anniversary on Saturday, May 19th with a series of special events.  A grand opening ceremony hosted by Coastal Broadcasting’s Scott Wahl will kick off the event at Noon that day followed by a tram car race involving three local mayors and plenty of beach activities, including a bonfire.  A fireworks display will cap off the evening.
