WILDWOOD SPECIAL OLYMPICS PLUNGE RAISES OVER $330,000

More than 1,000 people plunged into the ocean in Wildwood on Saturday for the Special Olympics New Jersey. The huge turnout helped raise more than $330,000. The raised money helps to keep Special Olympics activities free for participants in the state. The organization provides year-round training and athletic competition to more than 24,000 participants. There were plenty of people out in costumes and also tailgating before the event.
