WILDWOOD SCRAMBLES TO SAVE OFFSEASON BEACH EVENTS

Coastal Broadcasting has learned that the City of Wildwood is in the process of trying to save three off-season events that were cancelled by the promoter. New Jersey Thunder Motorsports abruptly announced that due to a financial dispute with the city of Wildwood, the Thunder on the Beach monster truck event and Thunder in the Sand motocross would be cancelled. Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano told Coastal Broadcasting that the city was in contact with the Greater Wildwood Hotel/Motel Assoc. and the Wildwoods Convention Center on a plan to save the events. The mayor said a resolution on the matter could be expected within one or two days.
