Wildwood Police are asking the public to be alert as they search for a man accused of stabbing a woman in the city Sunday. Police say be on the lookout for Terrance Dove of Wildwood. The 43-year old allegedly stabbed a woman and is considered armed and dangerous. Police were called to the crime scene on West Poplar Avenue shortly before 9 pm Sunday. The victim was discovered nearby with multiple wounds to her upper torso and was rushed to the Atlantic City Medical Center. Authorities had reason to believe the suspect was barricaded in the home where the stabbing occurred. The Cape May County SWAT team responded, setting up a perimeter for several blocks, but the man found in the home was determined to not be the suspect.
