Eleven people were placed in custody for a drug bust at the Blue Heron Motel in Wildwood. Police executed warrants on Wednesday around 10 p.m. in a combined effort between the Wildwood Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. As a result of the search warrants, distribution quantities of heroin and marijuana were discovered. The drugs were pre-packaged for street level sales. Police also seized paraphernalia and $1,100. The investigation is continuing and additional criminal charges agains the owner of the motel is possible for maintaining a nuisance property.
