The Wildwood Police Department took part in the Cops in Shops Initiative this summer. The program puts undercover police officers in liquor stores and to make arrests when underage people attempt to purchase alcohol. As a result of the 2015 Cops in Shops Summer Initiative, the Wildwood Police Department arrested 46 individuals for violating various state laws about minors buying alcohol.
