The Morey’s amusement piers reopened for the weekend on Saturday, one day after a bizarre accident took the life of an 11 year old girl from Pleasantville. The Wildwood amusement piers opened for business on Saturday as an investigation into why and how an 11 year old girl fell to her death from a ferris wheel continued. Abiah Jones fell from the amusement and died after the fall. It’s the first time any patron has died at the amusement park since the Morey family went into business in the Wildwoods in 1969.
