Starting this morning, you can no longer drive on Pacific Avenue in Wildwood. Mayor Pete Byron signed an executive order that turns the street into a pedestrian mall to encourage downtown visitation for retail and dining. Merchants can apply to the Zoning Official to put racks of goods out on the sidewalk. The closure is in effect from Schellenger Avenue to Spicer Avenue.
