A 26 year old man from Wildwood has been charged with 12 counts of theft after he allegedly stole beach bags from individuals on the beaches in Wildwood Crest. Crest Police announced the arrest of Thomas Edger of Wildwood who allegedly stole various beach bags from Crest beaches over a two week period. Edger gave police a false identification when he was questioned. Police believe Edger stole valuable items from the bags; similar charges are pending from the city of Wildwood.
