He says he did it. A Wildwood man was in court on Monday and admitted that he sank a fishing boat to collect on some insurance money. 50 year old Arthur Vitola entered a guilty plea before a federal judge in Camden. Vitola admitted that he attempted to sink the boat nearly three years ago so the owner of the boat could collect $400,000 in insurance money. Vitola was offered $2,000 to do the deed. Four other men were involved in the scheme, including one from Wildwood and another from Rio Grande.
