The City of Wildwood is now officially in the beach concert business. City officials met on Wednesday and approved a new plan that will establish a base rate fee of $15,000 to be paid to the city for any concert that wishes to be hosted on the city’s beach. This summer, WJSE Radio hosted a successful rock concert on the beach; the year before, Kenny Chesney came to Wildwood. Qualified proposals will be accepted by the city for the beach concerts and city leaders will decide which events work best for Wildwood in the future.
