Conflict is nothing new at a Wildwood Commission meeting and that is what took place on Wednesday. Commissioner Al Brannen was upset with the other two commissioner, Mayor Gary DeMarzo and Chip Harshaw, for not voting a new contract for the firefighters in the city. Brannen and the fire officials hammered out a contract that Brannen felt was good for the city, but DeMarzo said he hadn’t had the chance to read it. Eventually, Brannen couldn’t get a second to introduce the motion and it will likely be addressed at the next Wildwood Commission meeting.
