WILDWOOD FALLS IN THE SOUTH JERSEY GROUP I CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Wildwood’s dream season came to an end on Friday. The Warriors lost 4-2 to Haddon Heights in the South Jersey Group I Championship. Wildwood was down 4-1 until a sacrifice fly in the 6th cut the lead to 4-2. But Wildwood was unable to make an additional move in the game. Wildwood was a five seed and outplayed the seeding by making the championship game run. The team returns many players for next year, including Brendan Bean who appeared on the Morning After on Thursday on 987 The Coast.
