WILDWOOD DECIDES TO KEEP CURFEW, FOR NOW

Wildwood city officials say they are keeping a curfew on the books for now even though it’s probably unconstitutional. Wildwood’s City Commission met this week and decided to ask its solicitor to look into the legality of the curfew. Curfews enacted by local towns in New Jersey are coming under fire for violating constitutional rights. A libertarian organization is behind the assault on curfew laws, and many local communities have either repealed the laws or are about to do so.
