One of the Delaware Valley’s longest-running and most popular party bands will kick off the 2011 Borough of Wildwood Crest Free Live Music Series on Memorial Day Weekend.
The Fabulous Greaseband, a high-energy seven-member rock-and-roll party band featuring the best music of the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, will provide entertainment for the entire family at Wildwood Crest’s Summer Kickoff Concert on Sunday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park.
The Fabulous Greaseband has been performing at festivals, weddings, nightclubs and more for the past 35 years, delivering a highly entertaining performance of some of the greatest dance and party songs ever recorded. The Greaseband will be appearing at Centennial Park for the third straight summer.
This all-ages show is FREE and open to the entire family. Those attending the show should bring a blanket or a chair.
Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue (6601 Ocean), just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Wildwood Crest. Free parking is available two blocks away at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.
During the show, the park will also feature a miniature train setup to entertain kids and adults alike.
This performance by the Greaseband kicks off another exciting lineup of live music at Centennial Park, where FREE live musical performances will take place each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening from June 25 through Labor Day weekend.
