WILDWOOD CREST OFFICIALS ASKED TO DREDGE SUNSET LAKE

A Wildwood Crest resident asked the Wildwood Crest Borough Commissioners to consider dredging Sunset Lake. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Fred Mettler spoke at the commission meeting on Wednesday, claiming that Sunset Lake is filling-in and becoming a hazard for recreational boaters. Since most of the lake is located in lower Township, Wildwood Crest would have to determine who would be responsible for the dredging project and how much the state could become involved.
