WILDWOOD CREST LOCAL MAKES OLYMPIC TRIATHLON TEAM

Saturday morning a 30 year-old Wildwood Catholic High School graduate fulfilled a lifelong dream. Joe Maloy, of Wildwood Crest, was the top American finisher at the ITU World Triathlon Yokohama in Japan, which guarantees his nomination to the U.S. Olympic Team, that will compete this summer at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Maloy is currently ranked as the top U.S. triathlete at 23rd overall in the world.
