There might not be an EDM concert on July 4 weekend in Wildwood this year after all. At the regularly scheduled commissioners meeting in Wildwood, the public was invited to discuss the “BeachGlow” concert. Many of members of business community said they wouldn’t mind the concert as much if it wasn’t July 4 weekend and not in the same place as last year’s show, which is between Mariner’s and Adventure Pier on the beach. Both Mayor Ernie Troiano and Commissioner Tony Leonetti said that a concert was not signed with the promoter and that they do not favor the July 4 weekend. Troiano also said he would put together a committee to work with the business community to figure out what would work best. There was issues with last year’s show that involved profanity and visitors to the Wildwood boardwalk complaining about the loud music.
