WILDWOOD COMMISSION MEETING EXPECTED TO BE PACKED WITH PUBLIC WORKERS

A large turnout is expected in Wildwood for a meeting on Wednesday night. A facebook group has been started by one of the police officers who is scheduled to be let go, to get support of the public at the meeting. Spencer Smith is the officer that started the group. He notes that Matt Trotter, Mike Eagan, Matt Sicilla, and he are all scheduled for the lay off. Also, Fireman Ryan Troiano is the sole firefighter that will be let go. Three of the four police officers are on a federal grant until 2012, and their salary is of no burden to the taxpayers at this time. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
