Two unique events in the Wildwoods were a part of the holiday celebration this year. A group of 500 runners gathered early Thursday morning on the Wildwood Boardwalk in front of the convention center. With a cry of “God Bless America”, the runners began the 5K Beach ‘n’ Boardwalk Patriotic Run and One-Mile Family Remembrance Walk. Meanwhile in North Wildwood, the traditional bicycle parade was accompanied by the city’s 10th annual Patriotic Pooch Parade, with nearly 200 entrants.
