A drop in enrollment almost caused Wildwood Catholic to close, but it will force to school to adjust its staffing levels. Seven teachers are being let go heading into the next academic year, as apart of the school’s overall plan to get to financial viability. Camden Diocese’s spokesman Andy Walton tells Coastal Broadcasting that of the seven teachers, five are tenured and have already taken jobs within the diocese. The plan was put together in the spring and was accepted by the diocese, to allow the school to stay open.
