The Wildwood Beach Patrol will host the 7th annual “Beach Day” for the 21 Down Organization at Lincoln Avenue and the beach in Wildwood on Monday, July 27 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Over 40 Down Syndrome participants and their families, plus over 30 volunteers, are expected to attend. The central meeting area will be at Lincoln Avenue and the beach, in front of Wildwood Beach Patrol Headquarters, at the new 20-foot guard tower dubbed “Tower X.” 21 Down is a non-profit, Down Syndrome awareness group serving families, educators and healthcare professionals of Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Their mission is to create awareness and acceptance of people with developmental disabilities while providing information, support and community events for their families.
