Two offseason events in Wildwood have been saved. The City of Wildwood has partnered with the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) and the Greater Wildwood Hotel & Motel Association (GWHMA) to produce the Wildwood NJ Boardwalk Classic Car Show and Auction and the Beach Monster Mash Truck Races.
The Wildwood NJ Boardwalk Classic Car Show and Auction will take place Thursday, September 20 through Saturday, September 22; and the Beach Monster Mash Truck Races will take place Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30. These events bring thousands of visitors to the Wildwoods each year and are among the most anticipated events of the tourism season.
The events had previously been cancelled by the promoter, who owed the city nearly $45,000 in unpaid rent and fees.
