Two members of Wildwood High School’s Class of 1975 decided to repair the press box at Maxwell Field, in memory of their late classmates who played sports. The Wildwood Leader reports that David Thompson and Jerry Rosenberg, both local contractors, donated their time to repair the old press box on the visitor’s side of the field, that had fallen into disrepair. Several other classmates offered to help with the repairs, including the replacement of rotted wood, new siding, new roof, slider windows and a new warrior logo. Thompson and Rosenberg are also asking for donations to help pay for the supplies. To date the pair has raised $1,000 towards the project that could cost as much as $7,000.
