WIDOW OF MILLVILLE POLICE OFFICER PLANS LAWSUIT

The Millville Police Department is on notice that the wife of one of their fallen officers plans to sue. NBC-40 reports that Susan Reeves, whose husband was killed on July 8th when his patrol car was hit by an alleged drunk driver, plans to sue the police department for $10 million. The lawsuit alleges that Millville police allowed the police chase to occur that killed her husband, with knowledge that a “substantial certainty” of injury or death could result.
