Cape May County Tourism Director Diane Wieland was among those honored Monday night in Sandy Hook by the Jersey Shore Partnership. Wieland and other seashore county officials were thanked for their efforts for promoting beaches and tourism in the Garden State. The Partnership has been working hard towards a legislative change that would double the amount of funding the state commits to beach fill projects on an annual basis.
