WHITESBORO MAN ARRESTED FOR HOME INVASION ROBBERY

An arrest was made in home invasion robbery on Friday morning. Middle Township Police report that Justin Roper, 30 years old, suffered a laceration on his head from being struck with the handgun during an altercation with the black male forcing his way into the residence on West Wiley Street. Roper was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana in an amount over one ounce but less than five pounds, a crime of the third degree. Also charged with the same crime was Melissa Marquez, 32 years old, who resides in the residence with Roper. Both Roper and Marquez were released on their own recognizance.
